Daunt Books Children’s Subscription

With a Daunt Books Children’s subscription the recipient receives one book a month for a year, specifically chosen based on his/her taste.

They might be newborns or young adults, just starting to read or way ahead of their class, picture book readers, early readers, reluctant readers or hugely into the classics – everyone’s taste or preference is carefully taken into consideration when our specialist children’s booksellers choose for your loved ones. Every month for a year a new and wondrous book will arrive at their door.

More information on Subscriptions:

What does the subscriber receive? The subscriber will receive a card with their first book, which explains how the subscription works; they will be encouraged to get in touch to discuss their reading preferences. They will then receive a book every month.

Do you ship worldwide?Yes, we send book subscriptions to every continent on the planet! Postage to Europe is an additional £32. Postage to the rest of the world (inc. the US) is £62. Postage to Australia, New Zealand and Singapore is an extra £72.

What if the subscriber has already read one of the books? The subscriber can swap the book in any of our shops, or return it via mail.

I want to give the first book as a gift in person. You can choose for the first book to be sent to the buyer, rather than the subscriber, at checkout. This way, you can give the first book and card in person. Subsequent books will be sent to the subscriber’s address.

Can the subscriber talk to someone about their preferences?Absolutely! The subscriber can call whenever they’d like to discuss what books they enjoy and how they think the subscription is going. Our contact details will be on the card that we send.
