Daunt Books Holland Park and Leighton House Museum are proud to present
Charles Hindlip and Philip Hook to discuss the art market, its history and their most recent books. Charles Hindlip is the former Chairman of Christie's, and the author of a new memoir of his 40 years at the auction house, An Auctioneer's Lot. Philip Hook is a Board Member and Senior Specialist in Sotheby's Impressionist and Modern Art department, having previously headed Christie's 19th century paintings department. His most recent book, Rogue's Gallery, chronicles some of the great figures of the art market, from Lord Duveen to Peter Wilson. They will be joined by Susan Moore, art market correspondent at Apollo magazine.
Tickets are £10 and include a glass of wine.
