Tuesday 9th May at 7:00pm | Daunt Books Marylebone | Tickets £10.00
Henry Marsh's hugely popular first book, Do No Harm, was a fascinating and candid look at his life as a neurosurgeon. His new memoir shows the same honesty and perception as he reflects on the decades he has spent handling the brain, the responsibility this brings and how we approach mortality. From encounters with patients in London hospitals to the more extreme circumstances of brain surgery in the Ukraine and Nepal, this is a wonderful and thought-provoking book.
Chatting to Henry will be author and associate editor of the Observer, Robert McCrum.
